Meet the Chatralayam topper this year from the Himalayas. Ayush Rawat from the Rani Girija Devi AIM for Seva Chatralayam for Boys, Srinagar, Uttarakhand, came out with flying colours in his Class 10 board examination. He scored 93.8% and secured the second position in school.
Ayush joined the Srinagar Chatralayam when he was 15 years and in Class 9.
He comes from a single parent family. His mother does odd jobs with the annual family income being Rs. 72,000. He has a younger brother.
Ayush aspires to be an engineer and in pursuit of that, he will be taking the science stream in Class 11.
