In addition to Chatralayams, AIM for Seva is running 5 schools across Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Uttarakhand.
According to the Indian Constitution, Right to Education is the primary right of every citizen of India, despite one’s social or economic status. Currently, the rural economy contributes to 25-30% of the country’s GDP and hence increasing the literacy rate in these parts is of utmost importance for the Indian economy. Rural education moulds the lives of young villagers and strengthens the nation’s economy. It bridges the unemployment gap and ebbs poverty making it possible to tread on the path of empowerment. For the last two decades, AIM for Seva has directed its efforts towards providing quality education in rural India. Villages are the backbone of the country and AIM for Seva is vibrant in this space and has built institutions that offer ideal education paired with essential infrastructure.

In addition, our partner trust (Swami Dayananda Educational Trust) is managing three educational institutions. Two of these (a K-12 school and a college) are located at our Founder, Pujya Swami Dayananda Saraswati’s birthplace in Manjakkudi while another institution is located in Semmangudi village nearby.
