AIM for Seva

In Reverential Memory of Swami Suddhananda Saraswati

With profound sorrow and deep reverence, the students, staff, and the entire AIM for Seva family pay our respectful homage to revered Swami Suddhananda Saraswati, Chairman Emeritus of Swami Dayananda Ashram, who attained Mahasamadhi on 26th June 2026.

A dedicated and deeply devoted disciple of Pujya Swami Dayananda Saraswati, Swami Suddhanandaji remained by Pujya Swamiji’s side from the very inception of the Rishikesh Ashram in 1962. His unwavering devotion, humility, and selfless service were instrumental in establishing and developing the Ashram. The entire Ashram infrastructure, as it stands today, bears the imprint of his vision, dedication, and tireless efforts.

Dedicated to the preservation and propagation of Vedic knowledge through extensive teaching and pioneering educational initiatives, Swami Suddhanandaji rendered extraordinary service to Pujya Swamiji throughout his life and worked tirelessly to preserve and further his teachings and vision. He was a shining example of Guru Bhakti, simplicity, discipline, and unwavering dedication to Dharma.

His Mahasamadhi marks the conclusion of a life of extraordinary service, but his legacy will continue to live on through the Ashram he helped build, the values he embodied, and the countless lives he touched through his quiet dedication and steadfast commitment.

We offer our heartfelt prayers at the lotus feet of the Lord for his eternal peace and our deepest gratitude for a life lived in resolute service to Guru, Dharma, and society.

Om Shanti.
