It is with a heavy heart that we inform that an important member of AIM for Seva and Swami Dayananda Educational Trust (SDET), Sri. Lakshmi Narasimhan is no more. He was a key contributor to our organic farming, sustainable living and women empowerment initiatives.
Today, the house donated by Sri. Lakshmi Narasimhan in Kovilpatti is empowering women in the region in a big way. The Smt. Seethalakshmi Ammal AIM for Seva Training Centre has evolved into a sewing and computer centre in Kovilpatti providing hopes for economic independence and self employment opportunities for many women in Kovilpatti.
In addition, we have been able to save the soil spread over eight acres at Kovipatti, Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu and make it bloom thanks to the largesse of Sri. Lakshmi Narasimhan. The farmland (Swami Dayananda Farm, Kovilpatti, Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu) is a living testament of Sri. Lakshmi Narasimhan’s large heartedness. This green belt is filled with fruits and plantations include pomegranate, drumstick and coconuts. Two acres are reserved for lemons alone.
Our heartfelt condolences and deepest sympathies to his family on this solemn occasion. We shall solely miss his guiding presence and generous nature. We pray to Ishvara to give strength to the family to bear this insurmountable loss.
Our prayers to the family and for the noble departed soul to attain Sat Gati and Atma Shanthi
Om Shanthi.
