AIM for Seva

Back to the School and Chatralayam

Finally, it’s back to the school and Chatralayam for AIM for Seva students.  Students from Classes 9 to 12 have started going back to the Swami Dayananda Rotary Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Kadalur, Tamil Nadu while girls studying in Classes 6 to 12 have rejoined the Inder & Prabha Sharma Girls School, Khategaon, Madhya Pradesh.

We are happy to share that 1100  students across India are back to their respective Chatralayams. They are getting back to the Chatralayam routine with full enthusiasm after a prolonged break due to Corona.

As a first step, the students underwent medicals tests that included Covid-19 testing.

On its part, AIM for Seva is looking to bridge the learning gaps encountered by students from rural India on account of abrupt school closure due to the pandemic since early 2020.

At the Bhavani Arun AIM for Seva Chatralayam for Girls, Chinnasalem, Tamil Nadu, the girls are enjoying their daily routine of yoga, prayers and online classes. Raksha Bandhan was celebrated across our hostel network. The students at the Madhu & Rajkumar Nigam AIM for Seva Chatralayam for Girls, Unnao, Uttar Pradesh, celebrated Raksha Bandhan with festive fervour. They painted their palms with mehndi on this auspicious occasion.
