Priyanka Damar, a Class 9 student from the Inder & Prabha Sharma Girls School, Khategaon, Madhya Pradesh, demonstrated exceptional prowess by clinching the silver medal in the 200-meter athletics event held in Bhopal on 27th October 2023.
She was one among the seven students from the Inder & Prabha Sharma Girls School, Khategaon, Madhya Pradesh, who were selected to participate in the state-level CBSE Sports Meet.
This achievement marks a historic moment for the school, showcasing the remarkable talent and dedication of its students in track and field events. Priyanka’s exceptional performance has earned her a well-deserved spot in the upcoming National-level competition for the same discipline, set to begin in Raipur from 4th November 2023 onwards.
The girls were received with a traditional greeting upon their arrival at school.
Started in 2009, the Inder & Prabha Sharma Girls School, Khategaon, Madhya Pradesh, has been on mission mode for over the last 14 years in furthering girl child education. Today, there are 349 girls studying in the institution and coming in from the neighbouring 69 villages and 11 districts from three surrounding states.
