Continued seva in rural India

With Covid-19 showing no signs of abatement, our coordinators across India continue to engage in relief related efforts across India.

Grocery kits have been supplied to 2000 families living in eight villages surrounding Manjakkudi, Tamil Nadu. The beneficiaries come from Manjakkudi, Vembanur,  Moolangudi, Narasingampet, Kilapalaiyur, Sembangudi, Neikuppai and Thippanampettai.

Under the banner of AIM for Seva Ek Kadam Aage (AIM for Seva one step ahead), our coordinator along with volunteers in Mirzapur, Uttar Pradesh, distributed grocery kits to 43 needy families in the region. The beneficiaries were teachers and other people in need.

The coordinator of the Swami Dayananda AIM for Seva Chatralayam for Boys, Nagpur, Maharashtra, recently donated relief bags to 51 priests (Vaidik Karmakand Brahmanas) in the city. Their income has been impacted due to restrictions of crowds in places of worship and religious gatherings.
