Sustainability is essential to protect our environment – for us as thinking beings, it is the enlightened way to live. AIM for Seva advocates and works towards this vision by producing food in sustainable ways and enhancing rural livelihoods.

The core activities across our projects for sustainable development include:

– Conserving and cultivating heritage rice varieties
– Growing medicinal plants, vegetable crops and native trees
– Using only natural farming methods
– Using cattle by products such as cow dung and urine for bio -fertilisers
– Encourage seed sharing
– Providing the ‘how to do natural farming’ training programmes for villagers
– Diversifying from the single-crop system to growing multiple crops
