The Cause
For over 25 years, AIM for Seva has been working to help first-generation learners from rural India pursue their education and achieve their aspirations through our network of Chatralayams and schools.
AIM for Seva instituted the Chatralayam (free student hostel) model in 2000 to address the barriers that prevent rural and tribal children from accessing consistent schooling. Since then, our Chatralayams have been transforming young lives by providing safe accommodation, nutritious food, academic support, and a nurturing environment that enables uninterrupted education. Today, more than ever, your support helps us expand this mission and reach many more deserving students across India.
The first Chatralayam, started with 32 boys in Anaikatti, Tamil Nadu, was established in 2001. Today, we operate 91 Chatralayams across 17 states. Through our network of Chatralayams, schools, and Sandhya Gurukulams (evening tuition centres), AIM for Seva supports the education of around 10,000 students every year.
Be part of this meaningful journey. Attend a programme in your city, spread the word, or make a direct contribution. Your support today will give hundreds of children the chance to learn, grow, and create a brighter future.
We seek your generous support to educate the children of Rural India
