Whistle Podu – To Keep Infections at Bay

The staff at Swami Dayananda Krupa Care have devised a unique way to combat the threat posed by Covid-19. Every two hours, the watchman blows a whistle. The whistle is an indication for all residents to cleanse themselves after 120 minutes. Located in Sriperumbudur, Swami Dayananda Krupa Care provides lifetime care and support to differently-abled men.

Our relief efforts continue. The coordinator and staff at the Swami Dayananda AIM for Seva Chatralayam for Boys, Nagpur, Maharashra, came forward and donated grocery kits to 148 needy families in the surrounding areas. Each grocery kit contains 5 kg each of rice and wheat flour, 1 kg salt and 1 packet each of turmeric and chilli powder.
