With many migrant workers trekking the long way back home, AIM for Seva supporters in Madhya Pradesh are helping them reach their destination in their own small way.
These Sevaks are Vedanta students of Swami Aishvaryananda Saraswati ji, the coordinator of our hostels in Madhya Pradesh. And for the last 5 days, these Seva warriors are providing food, water, medicine and footwear to migrants who are walking on the Mumbai-Agra highway. “They are in thousands and they are walking back to their villages from Mumbai, Surat, Nashik and Pune,” says Swami Aishvaryananda Saraswati ji. He adds that while a lot of organisations have come forward to alleviate the pain of the migrant workforce, lot more helping hands are required. With the blessings of our founder, Pujya Swami Dayananda Saraswati, AIM for Seva will continue to serve the rural and urban poor in these trying times.
