Ankit’s maternal uncle came to know about our organisation through one of his friends who worked at the Khilanani AIM for Seva Eye Hospital, Aurangabad, Uttar Pradesh.
Ankit was enrolled at the Swami Dayananda AIM for Seva Chatralayam for Boys, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, when he was in Class 8. Ankit is in Class 10 now studying at Patanjali Inter College, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. He aspires to be a doctor when he grows up.
“After coming to the Ghaziabad Chatralayam, my life has taken a turn for the better. I live with 32 other boys under one roof and I have learnt to become independent. We work and study hard and our school teachers and hostel coordinators and other volunteers stress the importance of hard work and how it is important to push oneself to achieve our goals in life,” says Ankit.
