Ramam Bhaje – A Musical Celebration Of Lord Rama

A Multi-genre, Multi-language, Musical Fundraiser Concert to Educate Rural India

The Concert

Ramam Bhaje is an immersive devotional concert that invites audiences to connect with the timeless virtues embodied by Lord Rama. Through soul-stirring music, evocative visual storytelling, and profound reflections, the programme will bring to life Rama’s essence as the embodiment of dharma, and inspire all who seek a deeper understanding of the Ramayana’s eternal teachings.

At its core, Ramam Bhaje celebrates Lord Rama as the eternal embodiment of dharma and the guiding light of sanatana dharma – an ideal that represents righteousness, compassion and virtue. This concert brings to life the profound lessons of Lord Rama’s journey, as narrated in the Ramayana, a sacred itihasa and maha kavya.

During this 90-minute concert, renowned vocalist Kum. Sooryagayathri, accompanied by a talented ensemble of musicians, will perform traditional bhajans and compositions, including works by our beloved Founder, Pujya Swami Dayananda Saraswati, and other revered poets. Accompanying the music will be a dynamic visual portrayal of the Ramayana, designed by Sri Gyandev Singh, which will weave a captivating narrative of Lord Rama’s journey. The immersive experience transcends linguistic and cultural boundaries, as it engages the audience’s senses and emotions, and unites diverse communities in shared reverence.

This musical production is curated and presented by AIM for Seva as part of its 25th Silver Jubilee Anniversary Celebrations across India. All proceeds from the event will support AIM for Seva’s Chatralayams, empowering underprivileged children across India with education and essential resources for a brighter future.

The Cause

For the past 25 years, AIM for Seva has been working to help first-generation learners from rural India to study and achieve their heartfelt aspirations through our network of Chatralayams and schools.

AIM for Seva instituted and established the Chatralayam (free student hostel) model in 2000 to address and resolve the issues that restrict children from rural and tribal parts of India from accessing schooling and education. The first Chatralayam with 32 boys was set up in 2001 in Anaikatti, Tamil Nadu. Today, we are running 95 Chatralayams across 17 states. Through its network of Chatralayams, AIM for Seva supports the education of over 4,000 students, year-on-year. Our Chatralayams help to provide a holistic solution that looks into the child’s education and after school support, as well as their physical and psychological well-being.

Help us reach out to more deserving children, and extend the support they need to succeed.
