Cyclone Tauktae: Update from Amreli Chatralayam

Unrelenting Covid-19 and now a cyclone. Tauktae has left a trail of destruction along its path. The solar panels installed at the Swami Dayananda AIM for Seva Chatralayam for Boys, Amreli, Gujarat, stand completely damaged in the wake of cyclone Tauktae.

Started in 2008, the Swami Dayananda AIM for Seva Chatralayam for Boys, Amreli, Gujarat, has children aged from 9 to 18 years. The Chatralayam has a kitchen garden and goshala. This ensures that the boys get 3 nutritious and protein filled meals everyday. The library located in the hostel aids in knowledge enhancement. The students are exposed to the advantages of sustainable living from early on in life.

We seek your support in our Covid-19 relief related efforts as well as in rebuilding infrastructure that has been wrecked due to cyclone Tauktae.
