At first glance, Vikash Bhargav appears self assured and confident. A student of the Bapu-Buddh AIM for Seva Chatralayam for Boys, Indore, Madhya Pradesh, his transformation from a young and innocent lad to a bright and confident youngster occurred at the Chatralayam.
Vikash narrates his life’s journey with us.
“Namaste. Hari Om. My name is Vikash Bhargav. I am currently studying in Class 11. I come from a small village Tiwadiya in Madhya Pradesh that contains a maximum of 50 to 60 houses. My village is surrounded by a river and hills and it looks very beautiful. But with lack of access to education, its beauty decreases!
I have been studying in the AIM for Seva Chatralayam for the last 8 years. I have seen many changes in my personality after coming into the AIM for Seva eco system. This I believe will make me successful in all my future endeavours with your blessings.
When I joined AIM for Seva, I was very young and innocent that I could not even differentiate between the good and bad habits of people. At AIM for Seva, I have learnt many practical lessons of life which I would have not learnt had I continued to stay back at home. At the AIM for Seva Chatralayam, we have a fixed daily schedule that all of us need to abide by. This helped me to become more disciplined and in the process, I have learnt the value of time.
AIM for Seva was a home for children from different cultures and background. We intermingled and at a personal level, this interaction improved my tolerance and flexibility levels. With the blessings of my coordinator, Swami Aishvaryananda Saraswati ji, I have managed to get admission in a CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) school and I have scored 84% in the Class 10 CBSE board examination. The full credit goes to AIM for Seva and Swamiji.
I would also like to thank the donors of AIM for Seva. They have also inspired boys like us to donate something which we have. And I am sure that whenever I become successful, I will never leave the hand of AIM for Seva and always donate something to this institution whenever it is required.
In the end, I would once again like to thank AIM for Seva, my coordinator (Swami Aishvaryananda Saraswati ji) and our Founder Pujya Swami Dayananda Saraswati. They were always there when I needed them most.”
